La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Holbrook Petrified Forest

We were traveling from Arizona to New Mexico to visit friends, and this was a perfect stop along the way. The room was spacious and clean and new. The breakfast was basic but good with some healthy options. The bed was comfortable and the bath was clean. We used the EV plug in for our hybrid and it was handy.

It is definitely the best place to stay in Holbrook if you are going to be going to the Petrified Forest National Park. It is a standard La Quinta Inn - there is free hot breakfast and you can make waffles and they have eggs, potatoes, sausages, yogurt, and fruit available. It was fairly close to the National Park entrance and across from a gas station and the highway entrance. There is ample and free parking at the property and the facilities were nice - we used the gym and there is an indoor pool, which looked nice, but didn't use. Staff were able to check us in early to our room. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Hot coffee is available in the lobby 24/7.

This is our second stay here at LaQuinta Holbrook! It has stayed looking new and fresh since our last visit 3 years ago. It is an easy stop on I-40. Great sunset view at the back of the property! A great italian restaurant right down the road at Mesa Italiano!

The hotel is newer and very clean. It's easy off and on to freeway. It's on the outskirts but has a gas station (mini mart) across the street and some restaurants just down the street. The beds were comfy and liked that it had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good with options like sausage and eggs, cereal, waffles etc.

Breakfast is not great so we went out instead. The hotel is very nice and modern. Updated bathroom. Nice furnishings. Microwave and fridge were very useful. Plenty of parking and town is small so easy to find everything.
